This is a hard review to write because I absolutely hated the flavor of this treat. So, make my rating make sense? Okay, I will. I tried this treat because I learned of its existence while watching The Great British Baking Show, where the bakers were challenged to make Battenbergs. Intrigued by this British treat, I Googled and found this lovely website that sells them. I bought them. I hated them. But that does not mean the product was bad. To the contrary, it was exceptional quality in every way. Just not what MY tastebuds like. So, I rated them according to their freshness and quality and those deserved a 5.
