Worked like a charm in Christmas Pudding! No difference whatsoever from suet extracted from animal bodies.

1st box arrived damaged and we were granted a refund and repurchased. 2nd box arrived undamaged. Great for making dumplings, suet pudding, jam, golden syrup and fruit. Usually used more in the winter months. We lived in the UK and you never realize what you will miss, until you can’t get it. Glad its available on Verified.

I use this to make holiday pudding and I see no difference in texture or taste from the beef suet. I'd much rather use this than kidney fat.

If the recipe calls for beef suet - British Christmas Pudding, steamed meat puddings etc this vegetable suet it a great substitute.Also used for making homemade suet balls for the birds

I purchased this product as I was unable to find it in a grocery store. Most suet products were for bird feeders.I was trying to make an old Scottish recipe for a boiled pudding known as a Clootie Dumpling, similar to a fruitcake, and this was an essential ingredient.My dumpling turned out perfectly.I would buy this product again.

Bought this for my Christmas pudding because none of the stores near me supply suet of any kind. It poured easy, mixed nicely, and seemed to work with my recipe exactly as needed. The pudding has to sit until Christmas, so if there's any unexpected results I'll update the review, but I suspect it'll do its job and everything will be great!

Buyer beware! Love the product, but this a good example of shrinkflation. It is being sold for the same price as last year but instead of being a box of 240g it is a box of 200g.

Being a vegetarian and from England I love home cooking , I made 1940 recipe Bread Pudding not to be confused with bread and butter pudding , it called for suet but vegetable suet worked wonderfully and it turned out great .

Atora Vegetable suet is very good. I have used it many times... however when delivered, the box was completely squashed and broken. I recommend Atora but the package should be more carefully protected. Buying Atora in the USA is very expensive... you don't expect to receive it with the box in tatters! Luckily, the interior packing was not affected.

Hard to find anywhere. Glad I could get it. I use it for my grandmothers Christmas pudding recipe

I really cannot tell the difference and the flavor and texture of my suet pudding. Very pleased with it.

It’s Atora suet! Can’t make mincemeat without it

So, apparently right now you just can't get regular beef suet from overseas for reasons, so what are you to do when you have a recipe that needs it?Try this stuff and hope for the best.We made some mincemeat trying to get ahead of Christmas time gifts and this did the job! We ended up with a nice lucious and spicy homemade mince with the richness provided by the veggie suet.Is it the same as beef? Not quite, but it DID do the job

Adding some Atora vegetable suet to vegetarian patties makes them juicy. Lots of combinations for beans and vegetables. Just made carrot/white bean patties. Added Atora, fantastic taste, juicy, fresh.

I make fruit dumplings every year and this was my first time using vegetarian suet, couldn't beat the taste.
