PRODUCT DETAILS

Also known as Double One. A speciality orange jelly marmalade with tangerines, containing thin chips of peel. The Wilkin family have been farming at Tiptree, Essex, since 1757, and making quality preserves there since 1885. We grow a wide range of traditional English fruits and use them to make conserves and condiments in our nut-free factory by the farm. Our products are made to cherished recipes and are free from artificial colours and flavours. We inspect and prepare our fruit by hand then cook in small batches using traditional, copper-bottomed pans. We received our first Royal Warrant from George V in 1911, and remain Royal Warrant holders as purveyors of Tiptree Products to Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

small pieces rind equal tastes of orange & tangerine

it is not your typical orange marmalade. the tangerine flavor is almost as strong as the orange. i prefer the tawny orange marmalade version of tiptree. that one has larger pieces of rind and is not as sweet.

Im a big marmalade fan and have Goldilocks'd my way through every offering from Tiptree and after much tasty tasty trying and have settled on this offering as my absolute fav! For me it is the perfect balance of sweet and bitter with a brightness i dont experience in the other varieties.One significant caveat, I've been ordering these for some years and noticed with my more recent orders that they are spoiling faster than i can finish them even in the fridge so once you open I strongly recommend you enjoy them fairly rapidly so you dont end up with half full jars you're forced to toss and the ensuing sadness that brings!And it is the rapid spoiling and the appreciable cost for which i deduct one star just in case you may have been wondering how i assign 4 stars to something i love!

Well, it’s not KING KELLY that sadly went out of business years ago but it’s certainly a good runner up! And I can’t imagine my Thomas’s English Muffin without the benefit of TIPTREE Irange & Tangerine Marmelade. Yummy Good! Thank you.

Shipping for order’s containing Perishable (Frozen) items:

If you are purchasing General items and Perishable items together, you will be provided Air Shipping only by UPS. You may choose which Air Shipping option you want.
