PRODUCT DETAILS
This cute terracotta teapot with clear inside glaze is a throw-back to the original Yixing ware teapots of 1627. These teapots were introduced by the Elers brothers in 1695. They subsequently evolved to become the Brown Betty Teapot which we know and love today. It is cast in traditional Etruria marl clay and then biscuit fired. A clear inside glaze is added to the inside of the teapot to make impervious to water. Finally, it is pad printed with Original Brown Betty logo. This teapot is a stunning historic display piece which is fully functional too!
This terracotta teapot pairs well with our terracotta storage jar range to create a beautiful Farmhouse Kitchen look.
